Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur’s 148th Vyasapuja
On February 19th the first of the three-year celebration of the150th Vyasapuja of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupada began. This 148th year celebration marks the beginning of the slated 3 year celebration of the 150th birth anniversary of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Goswami Thakur Prabhupada in Jaganath Puri Dham, organized by the Gaudiya Mission, Srila Bhakti Sundar Sannyasi Goswami Maharaj, Sri Kshetra Saraswata Gaudiya Vaishnav Sangha, and Srila Bhakti Vivek Paramarthi Goswami Maharaj. The auspicious occasion was graced with the presence and participation of many other Maths and missions.
The celebration had different activities, like nagar sankirtan, bhajans, dramas and Hari katha with the presence and blessings of many great Vaishnavas Acaryas. Present were, Srila Bhakti Vicar Bishnu Goswami Maharaj (Sri Krishna Caitanya Mission), Srila Bhakti Bibudha Bodhayan Goswami (Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Math), Srila Bhakti Vicar Vishnu Goswami Maharaj (Sri Caitanya Gaudiya Math), Srila Bhakti Vedanta Bodhayan Maharaj (Sri Damodar Gaudiya Math), Srimad Bhakti Saudha Keshab Maharaj (Sri Krishna Caitanya Mission) and many others.
The special VIP guest for the event was the President of India, Sri Ram Nath Kovind, who was part of the inauguration ceremony for the 3 years long commemoration of Vyasapuja of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Goswami Thakur Prabhupada at the place of his holy birth.
As part of the festival, the World Vaishnava Association - Vishva Vaishnava Raj Sabha held the monthly meeting, presided over by our WVA - VVRS President Srila Gopananda Bon Goswami Maharaj, the Vice President, Srila Bhakti Prapanna Tirtha Goswami Maharaj, Srila Bhakti Aloka Paramadvaiti Goswami Maharaj and Sripad Bhakti Vedanta Govinda Maharaj. Joining the Zoom meeting were Sripad Rasa Bihari Das prabhu, who showcased the event along with some other interesting holy places.
All participants also had the darshan of the General Secretary, Srila Bhakti Vicar Bishnu Goswami Maharaj, Sripad Bhakti Rakshak Hrishikesh Maharaj and other great Vaishnavas, sannyasis, secretaries, and other devotees from around the world who took part in the meeting to hear the Hari Katha and make their offerings to Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur.
